Cozy Coffee, Great Service, and a Must-Try Cappuccino

Hello! I'm Real Foodie, a coffee-loving traveler. 😊
Today I want to share a little gem I found during my recent trip to Sydney — a café that truly made my mornings feel relaxed and special.

📍 L’Expresso House

  • Address: 65 Cowper Wharf Roadway, Woolloomooloo, NSW 2011
  • Opening Hours:
    Mon–Fri: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
    Sat: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
    Sun: Closed

While staying in Woolloomooloo, this café was just a 5-minute walk from my accommodation.
I visited one quiet morning to enjoy a peaceful brunch — and it turned out to be a delightful experience.

Woolloomooloo itself is calm and mostly local, and just across from the café is a naval base.
So yes, it’s not unusual to spot uniformed sailors grabbing coffee here early in the morning!

💛 Warm Staff, Healthy Brunch, and Great Vibes

The staff here were so friendly.
They took time to explain the menu and even gave helpful recommendations.
That kind of service always makes a difference when visiting a new place. 😄

One of the highlights? Definitely the acai bowl — packed with fresh fruits, not overly sweet, and full of healthy goodness.

It was exactly what I needed after days of heavy meals.

🍽 What We Ordered

☕ Coffee

  • Long Black
  • Café Latte
  • Cappuccino (Highly Recommended!)

🥐 Brunch Dishes

  • Scrambled Eggs
  • Acai Bowl
  • Bacon & Egg Baguette

☕ Honest Coffee Review

The long black was clean and bold — perfect before food.
The latte had a great balance, smooth and creamy.
But the real star here? The cappuccino.

It had a beautiful dense foam, rich coffee aroma, and a well-rounded flavor.
If you’re a cappuccino lover, don’t miss it.

🍳 Brunch Menu Impressions

The scrambled eggs were moist and perfectly cooked.
The bacon & egg baguette was simple but filling and satisfying.
And again — that acai bowl made me feel like I’d just done yoga. 😆

✅ Final Thoughts

If you’re staying in or around Woolloomooloo and looking to start your day slow and happy,
L’Expresso House is a top pick.

I even told my wife we had to come back here for brunch before leaving Sydney.
But guess what? We went on a Sunday… and it was closed. 😢 (Note to future self: check the hours.)

If I ever return to Sydney, this will be my first breakfast stop.
A perfect blend of local charm, healthy food, and fantastic coffee.

Especially if you love cappuccinos, go ahead and treat yourself.
You'll thank yourself later. ☕💛
